To provide the highest level of care to all our patients, we ask that you review our standard office financial policies:
Co-Payments & Deductibles
Co-Payments & Deductibles: All co-payments, coinsurance, and deductible amounts are due at the time of service. For your convenience, we keep a secure payment method on file to streamline this process.
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
Cancellation & No-Show Policy: We value your time and Sarah’s clinical expertise. If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, we require at least 24 hours' notice. Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours' notice, or "no-show" appointments, may be subject to a standard cancellation fee. Please note that insurance companies do not reimburse for missed appointment fees.

Coverage Verification: While we perform a courtesy benefit verification before your first visit, it is ultimately the patient's responsibility to understand their specific coverage. We encourage you to contact your member services department (the number on the back of your card) to confirm your mental health benefits.

Yes. Under Massachusetts Parity Laws, mental health care must be covered at the same level as medical care.
Yes. All major Massachusetts payers are required to cover HIPAA-compliant telepsychiatry sessions just like an in-office visit.
As of 2026, many MA plans cover one annual behavioral health wellness check-in at no cost to the patient. Contact us to see if your plan qualifies.
Most PPO and Medicare plans do not require a referral, while some HMO plans may. Our admin team can help you verify this during your intake.
